The restaurant will be open from 18.30, for a drink.  Let’s meet there.

Would be great if you are able to come earlier, to see the exhibition / installation 8.15 DIFFERENT LINES, that lead us to the performance. It is a notation, that has been developed and created day by day, since 13th March.

We invite you to see also the exhibition of Malin Egström “I VILKET VATTEN” in the Gerlesborg Gallery.  It’s so great that Malin has agreed to be a part of the performance. Her presence and the treasures from her imagination and experience, are the invaluable part of the project.

Another great contribution is the sound created by Henrik Olsson, who helped us to get the fingerprint of the space and the sound of the time…  Find below Henrik’s explanation of the sound’s project with the working title: “I’m forgetting in the room”.

The 8.15 DIFFERENT LINE manifesto is written on the wall. You can look at it, find the stories. Some moves were taken by you. Unexpected moves, that makes the lines different. Sometimes, they were in collision with the expectation or esthetic idea. I like that twist, it kept the wall really out of the plan. If any.

The following ideas, terms, have been accumulated in the process of marking the lines: DISTANCE, CONTRAST, BALANCE, CONTROL, MEMORY, VARIETY, EMOTIONS, EXPECTATION, SURPRISE, INTERPRETATION, PERSPECTIVE, RELATIONSHIP, SPEED, SYMMETRY, TRANSITION, DETAIL, MOVE.

The great phenomenon of the distance. The distance can be attributed to a separation. And the distance is the proof that the process of meeting have been started. The opportunities, events, efforts, mistakes, tension, ways, conflicts, solutions. Humans.

The corridor. Space designed to move from A to B. Do we need much more space to take an effort and to use the space, and the distance, as the opportunity for a meeting with a different? Good morning.

Welcome, Lukasz Stanek
