En dag för att uppmärksamma, fira och stärka det lokala livet i en allt mer globaliserad värld. Lokal ekonomi, ekologi, samhälle och natur.
Come and celebrate world localization day on June 21st!
It celebrates local change making as part of a global movement for healther communities and economies. This is an opportunity to learn about the Localization Movement, get inspired and celebrate all the initiatives that already exist in our area.
Our programme
We will meet at 19:00 at Cafe Olivia to catch up and plant a small herb garden. If you have herbs to contribute, please bring them along!
Then we will move to Scenstudion Gerlesborg for a small fika. At 20:00 we will show the movie “Planet Local: A Quiet Revolution” that is released worldwide on this day. The film features many well-known faces like Russell Brand, Noam Chomsky, Vandana Shiva, Helena Norberg-Hodge, Naomi Klein, Jane Goodall, Gabor Maté, and many others.
